Qualifications

As a community soccer club, we are proud to have boys and girls in grades 6-12 serve as referees in our intramural program. Our youth referees serve as mentors for our younger players, and they are encouraged to take time to explain the rules and allow players to correct mistakes.

Preference of those selected to be referees will be given in the following order:

  1.  Current FC Europa and TEYSA players
  2.  Not currently an FC Europa or TEYSA player but also not associated with another soccer program
  3. Those that are part of another soccer program outside of FC Europa or TEYSA

Background Checks

The state of Pennsylvania requires several background checks for those who will be working with children. All referees turning 14 or older during the Fall season must submit background check documents.
